It all began one summer when I was required to start doing my community hours in order to graduate from high school. Then Gretel, the Cuban Missions Project Coordinator at

, told me her boss, Teo Babun, would allow me to complete my community hours there. So I decided it would be a great opportunity to experience, and I agreed to do it. When I arrived at

and met everyone, I enjoyed it from the start. I helped out with packing vitamins, making licenses, directing calls, and more. As the days went on I realized that it wasn’t about just volunteering here and getting the hours I needed, but it was the start of becoming a part of a new family.
