Evangelical Christian Humanitarian Outreach for Cuba (ECHO-Cuba is a non-profit, non-political organization organized for the purpose of investigating, anticipating, facilitating, promoting, supporting and providing humanitarian assistance to poor, distressed and underprivileged people of Cuba in order to improve the health care of such people and for the purpose of engaging in any lawful act or activity not for pecuniary profit for which not-for-profit corporations may be organized. The main function of ECHO-Cuba’s Distribution Initiative program is to provide education, medicine, medical supplies, food, clothing and other humanitarian aid for massive assistance to the people of Cuba. In pursuing this mission, ECHO-Cuba’s focus will be to support and empower Evangelical Protestants throughout Cuba regardless of denomination or associations.		Ayuda Humanitaria Evangélica Cristiana (ECHO-Cuba) es una organización no-lucrativa, no-politica que se organizó con el motivo de investigar, anticipar, facilitar, fomentar, apoyar y proveer la ayuda humanitaria a la gente pobre, angustiada, y desvalida de Cuba para mejorar la atención médica para tales personas y con la intención de meterse en cualquier acto legal o actividad no-lucrativa para los cuales las corporaciones no-lucrativas se permiten organizar. La función principal del programa de la Iniciativa de Distribución de ECHO-Cuba es proveer la educación, medicina, suministros medicos, comida, ropa y otra ayuda humanitaria atraves de una red entre las iglesias evangélicas para el auxilio imponente de la comunidad. En la busqueda de esta misión, el enfoque de ECHO-Cuba será apoyar y autorizar a los Protestantes Evangelicos por todo Cuba no importa la denominación ni asociación.

OUR VISION The vision of ECHO-Cuba is to build and empower the Cuban Evangelical Christian Church, uniting those who can help with those who need help. OUR MISSION ECHO-Cuba is a mission community of Christ-centered people committed to reaching the people of Cuba with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are strengthened by our compassion for the Evangelical Christian Church. We will collaborate with local leaders throughout Cuba, and will bring hearts, minds and resources together. We perform this mission through programs, which promote Christian education, capital projects, social & human services, humanitarian needs, agricultural entrepreneurship, and organizational capacity. OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES ECHO-Cuba’s strategic work will be to create and adapt methods that will strengthen the church. Through our mutual vision for a strong church, we will achieve great benefits and organizational excellence. In so doing our vital mission will be moved forward to the benefit of those we serve. We will be a caring ministry. Our efforts are non-political. CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS ECHO-Cuba’s staff and volunteers will be motivated by their love for the Lord Jesus Christ and in obedience to His commands, encourage, assist, and participate with the Cuban Church in the task of building the Church of Jesus Christ in Cuba. We will work and participate with Christian organizations, churches, and individuals to accomplish our objectives.		NUESTRA VISIÓN Edificar y Fortalecer la Iglesia Evangélica Cristiana en Cuba, uniendo a todos los que puedan ayudar en estas necesidades, a los cristianos cubanos. NUESTRA MISIÓN ECHO-CUBA es una misión comunitaria Cristo-céntrica, comprometida para alcanzar al pueblo de Cuba, para el Evangelio de Jesucristo. Estamos llenos de compasión por el pueblo cristiano evangélico en Cuba. Queremos colaborar con el liderazgo cristiano en ese pueblo, de todo corazón, plenamente identificados en un sólo propósito, de trabajar juntos en un programa, que promueva la educación, proyectos sociales, servicios humanos y de alcance, en todas las áreas posibles, hasta donde podamos invertir en una capacidad organizacional. NUESTROS PRINCIPIOS La estrategia de ECHO-CUBA es crear y adaptar métodos que den fortaleza a la Iglesia. Nuestra visión para una iglesia fortalecida, logrará un crecimiento, en una mejor organización, de excelentes beneficios, para los que trabajan y sirven, cuidando de un mejor ministerio.
